Becoming a Brainiac tutor in your local community is a great way to earn extra cash while doing something great for your neighbors. Our tutors make their own schedules and often tutor between classes or after work. 

 

Required Applicant Qualifications:

- Currently hold or graduated with a 3.0 GPA or above or have extensive experience teaching the subject(s) to be tutored

- A history of stellar performance in the subject area you wish to tutor

- Great communication skills

- Teacher certification preferred but not required

- Experience teaching or tutoring preferred but not required

- Clean criminal background check and abuse clearances within the last 5 years

- Reliable access to internet

- Reliable mode of transportation and willing to travel to meet students

- Strong patience when dealing with others

- Good organization skills and attention to detail

- Ability to responsibly and effectively manage your own schedule

- Ability to plan lessons around student needs and skill gaps
